La Crêperie Porto de Galinhas

Recife

The restaurant is located just across the street from an arts and handicraft fair. So after you are done shopping you don't need to look too far away to find a good meal to finish off your day.

La Crêperie is the brainchild of the chef Cláudia Câmara, who spent a good deal of her time in Europe working in Crêperies. Back to Brazil, she applied the accumulated knowledge to create this now famous restaurant.

La Crêperie is one of the best-known restaurants in downtown Porto de Galinhas. The menu displays an array of crepes, pastas, salads, juices, wines and other drinks.

The extra light crepes are the house speciality, made according to the traditional French recipe. The Northeast Brazil cuisine, nonetheless, is still present and lively in the kitchen. This can be seen in some signature dishes that use regional ingredients such as jerked beef and shellfish. The dessert crepes are also particularly bold and innovative.

Salads, soups and pastas are also prepared to perfection with a varied array of ingredients, and all prices are pretty affordable, much like what you'd find in the city.

La Crêperie defines itself as 'sophisticated, but with a simple soul', so you'll feel welcomed by the cheerful decoration and satisfied by the generous dishes.
