'La Tratoria' is an Italian cantina right in the middle of Porto de Galinhas. The chef Felipe Barreto signs the place's menu, composed of what's best in Italian cuisine with selected ingredients.
Though good cuisine options are available in town, this is one of the few headed by an actual chef with international expertise. Novelties are also introduced in the menu regularly.
The list of wines is quite comprehensive, with options for varied tastes and budgets. If the evening is hot, go with the sangria for some refreshment.
The house itself is not very spacious, which actually helps to create a cozy and intimate climate which will make you want to stay a little bit longer.
