Description
Depart from Recife around 11:00 AM and travel along the Boa Viagem-Pina coastal road to Olinda, passing Beberibe, the Capibaribe River, and the Marco Zero landmark.
Upon arrival, visit Alto da Sé square and explore three historic churches. Proceed to a viewpoint for panoramic photos of the city. You will have 45 minutes of free time to purchase local crafts or relax with food and drinks.
Descend the Igreja da Misericórdia hill, walking through narrow streets with colorful houses. Visit the former slave market (Mercado da Ribeira) and see the giant dolls used in the Olinda Carnival.
