One of the most famous seafood restaurants in the region, the 'Bejupirá' group has an establishment bearing its name in all the top tourist attractions in the State: Olinda, Fernando de Noronha, Carneiros and Porto de Galinhas. Rightly so, one may say, since divine destinations ask for heavenly cuisine.
The menu is an homage to seafood and tropical tastes. Fishes, lobsters, shrimps, crabs and octopuses that would elsewhere be prepared in a rather predictable fashion are combined with mangoes, passion fruit, cashew and other juicy fruits. These exotic combinations of the best of the ocean with the best of the land produce outstanding dishes, which can be savoured with one of the 150 wines available.
Though the price is premium, the environment in Porto keeps the laid back decor of a beach house, with lots of open spaces and unpretentious furniture, creating an enjoyable and cozy atmosphere.
The 'Bejupirá' is a member of the 'Boa Lembrança' club, a gastronomy circle comprising all top restaurants in the State. If you ask for the chef's suggestion, you get to take home an artisanal decor plate as a souvenir, a 'good memento' ('Boa Lembrança') of your days in Porto de Galinhas.
