Description
About 50 minutes from Recife, Catamaran Praia Beach Club at Praia do Capitão offers excellent facilities and local cuisine. From here, you can join an optional water tour to Coroa do Avião Island in Igarassu, the oldest city in Pernambuco. Enjoy swimming in the sea and exploring this island.
The tour may also include a visit to Itamaracá Island, where you can see Forte Orange, a historic fort established in 1631, and learn about its background. Itamaracá is known for the ciranda, a traditional Pernambuco dance often featured at carnivals, which you can try during the trip.
In addition to the catamaran tour, a guided quad bike trail is available to discover local viewpoints and visit Vila de Nova Cruz.
