Bodega do Veio
Recife
Bodega do Veio is a Pernambucan institution named after the owner Edival Hermínio da Silva's nickname. It started as a convenience store in 1981 but due to customer demand became a bar in the evenings for professionals and artists heading home. A truly Brazilian experience whether at the bar or standing room only outside!
Bodega's are no-frills Brazilian street bars where traditionally a male-dominated crowd have their tipple after work and into the evening. Nowadays a varied crowd of both sexes stop off here every evening, including the many visitors coming to Olinda's Old Town year round..
There is a wide variety of snacks and a good selection of beers and spirits.
Debit and Credit cards accepted.
