Oficina Brennand

This unique artists workshop come showroom is a mixture of private museum, tile factory, beautiful gardens and a private forest, art gallery and well-appointed cafe/restaurant. It is a must for any cultural and artistic tour around Recife.

Francisco Brennand's unmistakable artistic talent includes massive out-of-this-world and often rather sexual figures and sculptures, as well as designs and paintings. 

Further interest are his creations with domestic floor tiles, pottery and tableware made in his own on-site factory - Santos Cosme e Damiao - many of which can be purchased here and in specialised shops around Brazil and the world, including a distributor in Los Angeles, USA.

His work can be seen around Recife in displays and buildings, notably the Millenium Sculpture Park opposite Marco Zero in Old Recife. Many buildings have used his rustic floor tiles and some are lucky to have his sculptures.
