Entre Amigos, O Bode - Boa Viagem and Espinheiro

On the name and logo of this restaurant, one character stands out: 'o bode' (the goat). Goat meat is much appreciated by regional cuisine, and at a given time a waiter with business savy decided to start a restaurant specialized in serving it. The idea worked out well, and today there are two units of the 'Entre Amigos, O Bode', one in Boa Viagem and another in Espinheiro, thus covering both South and North zones of Recife.
The Boa Viagem bar restaurant, which started as a street stand, now has two floors and a large area downstairs including a kids playground.
The more recent addition in Espinheiro is very charming. It works in a 950m² mansion from the 1930s, preserving much of the original decor, including hand painted blue tiles on the walls. The restaurant is composed of a large main hall, for alfresco dining and lively ambiance, and a more reserved space, with AC. There is also a playground for children.
Goat meat is not the only thing served here. Other noble meats, pasta, fish, seafood, sushi and other treats are also on the menu, along with a wide selection of wines, beers and other beverages.
For six years, the restaurant has been chosen either as best regional cuisine or best goat meat in town.
