Companhia do Chopp

Companhia started as a typical Brazilian street bar that offers excellent beer, drinks and cocktails and bar snacks, barbecued meats and other wholesome tasty dishes.

It has grown in popularity so much that it has rather invaded the centre of a small shopping parade in central Boa Viagem.

At lunchtime, it becomes a popular local lunch spot with a quality kilo-buffet that offers a number of salad, meat and vegetarian options - and you only pay for what you take.

In the evening, it sees a mixed crowd with its excellent barbecued meats and a la carte menu plus a wide variety of drinks, including cold beers, whiskies, vodka and cocktails.

The waiters at Companhia do Chopp are characters in themselves and ensure a fun and efficient table service.
