Capibar is different from most bars in that it is literally on a riverbank - the Capibaribe river in Casa Forte, North-West Recife. Great views and sunset, live music and a young vibrant crowd.

If you're in North Recife and are looking for something different, Capibar does the trick. Walking distance from the Homem do Nordeste Museum.

The decor is fairly unique in that its owners are keen conservationists and run the NGO Recapibaribe that organises river cleanups. The results are seen covering the walls and varanda of the bar, often made into sculptures.

Live bands may be playing reggae, blues or rock to top off a great atmosphere.
